Discipleship: Bible Study on John’s Gospel

The final Bible Study of Lent will take place on Monday in Holy Week (15 April) at 8pm-9.30pm in St Clement’s Hall. This will be a special look at the Passion narrative in John’s Gospel (chapters 18 and 19), which is read liturgically in church every Good Friday.

The session is starting later than usual, following the evening Mass at 7.15pm. We will begin immediately with the Bible study at 8pm, without the usual sharing of food, but please feel free to bring snacks along if you wish.

All welcome!

PLEASE NOTE: There is no meeting on Maundy Thursday (18 April), since we will all be in church for the Mass of the Lord’s Supper and the watching at the Altar of Repose! Do join us then.
The first Bible Study after Easter will be on Thursday 9 May, 7pm, continuing with chapter 14 of John’s Gospel.

After the popular Encounter series in Advent, and the further series in February, our popular Bible Study on John’s Gospel continues on Thursdays in Lent (until 11 April inclusive). Our theme now is DISCIPLESHIP as we follow Jesus more closely to his Cross and Resurrection.

Newcomers are welcome. You don’t need to have attended before, as each session is stand-alone.

We meet on Thursdays at 7pm–8.45pm in St Clement’s Hall at Holy Cross Centre (Wellington Street entrance, LE1 6HW).

Bring and share food. All welcome!
